The Full Story

Ninja Warrior Career and Ninja for a Cure

I always loved watching American Ninja Warrior and wanted to be able to participate in it. My dad and I decided to build a course and spent a whole summer transforming our backyard with new structures and obstacles. Since then, American Ninja Warrior has been a huge part of my life and I have trained a lot, both on my course and at various gyms along the east coast.

My Ninja for a Cure Competitions

Along with being a competitor myself, I enjoy being involved in the ninja community and have been able to hold competitions of my own. I partnered with the organization, Ninja for a Cure, in order to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. All of the proceeds have gone directly to the charity. I work on making the courses, running the event on the microphone and demonstrating the obstacles for the competitors, as well as doing all the advertising and preparation beforehand. It is growing exponentially, as the first summer consisted of 17 competitors and $730 donated in my backyard, and the second year was 33 competitors and $1,550. Our third year brought up 60 competitors and $3,250; this competition was so large we had to move the annual event into a gym. The fourth contained 70 competitors along with a raffle to donate $5,555. The 5th annual Ninja for a Cure competition donated another $4,005, for a total of $15,090 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! I have put countless hours into these over the years and I would consider the events to be some of the proudest moments of my life.

My Competitive Background

In 2017, I participated in the National Ninja League Finals. I was one of two competitors to make it through stage 2, and made it farther on stage 3 than my opponent, allowing me to become the National Ninja League Champion and the top American Ninja Warrior competitor under the age of 21. In the following years, I competed in many adult competitions, placing in the top 10 in nearly all of them and grabbing top 5 and top 3 finishes as well. In 2022, I applied for Season 14 of NBC's American Ninja Warrior and was selected to compete! I had the time of my life on the Qualifying course in San Antonio and qualified for the Semifinals in Los Angeles!
